             abstract = "This work shows the quantification and spatial characterization of 
                         natural vegetation and reforestation with exotic species (Pinus 
                         and Eucalyptus) in S{\~a}o Paulo State, using digital techniques 
                         and geographical information system technology. Natural vegetation 
                         was classified correlating climate, terrain and soil variables, in 
                         according with legend of universal character. In the continuous 
                         forest inventory of S{\~a}o Paulo State is used CBERS-2 
                         satellites images in studies and control of mapping and dynamics 
                         of alterations.",
